Paradoxical New York-based Southern rock revivalists the Suntanama feature vocalist Darren Zoltowski, guitarists Keith Connolly and John Allen, bassist Dave Shuford, and drummer Robert Gregory. Shuford and Connolly are also part of the acclaimed free folk outfit the No-Neck Blues Band. The Suntanama made their debut in 2001 with The Wishing Song/Roll On, a 7" on New World of Sound that introduced their mix of folk, blues, and boogie rock.
