Let me answer a few questions right off the bat.

1- YES, Karen Fox is my wife.
2- it IS very cool that I got to work with her.
3- RED is my REAL hair color.

Now that THAT's out of the way...

I would rather be in the same room with Karen than ANY place in the world (at least when I'm not in the dog house.)

I love to watch movies - the sillier the better.

My hidden talent is that I sew. Can't fix a car - but I can hem the hell out of a set of curtains. I've owned a sewing machine for over 20 years - I've got 4 now.

Other than that - I have the coolest job in the world. To sit around & play the rock songs I love, poke a little fun in between them, & laugh most of the day - I couldn't ask for more. OK, I could, but the boss would laugh so hard he'd blow boogers all over himself & tell me it's 'not in the budget.' Then he'd kick me out of his office & make me get back to 'work'.

It's a living.

   ...they're kids, it's Halloween, you're not surprised, I hope.

   They got their costumes over the weekend.

   All Nate has wanted to be is a dinosaur - he's 5, that's what he's into... Karen found an AWESOME dino costume for him.

   Katie saw a rack at the Disney store & ran to it yelling I WANNA BE MICKEY!!!. Then she looked around a little & saw Buzz Lightyear, looked at Karen & asked, CAN I BE BUZZ?!! There's no 'princess' in her... she's a 'toots' all the way to the bone.

   ...let me begin by telling you I"m NOT getting paid, compensated, or otherwise fed for this.

   Karen took me to a really cool restaurant for my birthday over the weekend.

   BARNACLE BUD'S - it's on the harbor south of downtown.

   Now, I'm not a food critic - but I eat, so I get to have an opinion - so here goes:

-kitchy harbor atmosphere - they wouldn’t call it “atmosphere” though… they’d say that’s just Bud out back cleaning today’s catch.

-reasonable prices

-awesome crab cakes

-& the cole slaw is INCREDIBLE!

**-My tip: try the Big Bud Burger (served without silverware BUT KEEP LOTS OF NAPKINS NEARBY)

   -the beer is cold (bonus)
   -& the menu has an attitude - FIND OUT HERE
            Eat Safely - Use Condiments! (their words, not mine)

   I'd go back in a minute.
